Or: Chalk Lines!
Our buddy, Gary Chalk gave us his time for an interview and we made the most of it! The veteran actor has lent his talents to so many productions, where could I begin? Okay, I'll give it a shot. Uhh, Freddy Vs. Jason, Dark Angel, Stargate SG1, Beast Wars (hello? Optimus Primal?), Sonic the Hedgehog, Reboot, you know what? I'll just post his imdb link below! So c'mon, genre acting, voice acting, what more do you need? DL! DL!

Very nice, but I kinda wish

Very nice, but I kinda wish there had been a bit more talk about Reboot as a whole. Considering he did have quite a few roles on it.

Still, very, very interesting.

It was very interesting to find out his opinions of the TF movie. I love when people aren't afraid to answer questions.

I wish him luck on his future project and also a speedy recovery.

It's great how he even did

It's great how he even did the comercials for the G2 toys! This podcast was very fun to listen to.

Nice. It's great that you

Nice. It's great that you guys interview voice actors. As actors go, I've always felt that they were never given the dues. Mr. Chalk really seems to understand his craft. And 21 Jump Street! Who knew?

Good to hear from this fine

Good to hear from this fine actor. Also nice to hear his thoughts of the movie(as bad as it was).

Great interview! Very entertaining, keep up the good work A3U!

WOO...great interview guys!

WOO...great interview guys! Gary sounds like such an awesome guy! I hope he comes out to a Toronto convention soon. Well...after his leg gets better.

Also...I'd like to note...Reboot came before Beast Wars/Beasties. Beast Wars came out in 96, but Reboot started airing about and around two or three years before...around 93 or 94.

And I have to go and listen to the WHOLE THING OVER now cause I was in such a rush to post my comment...I didn't wait till the end XD

As always, link is posted in Voice Actor Whores...thanks a lot Johnny for sending it to me ^_^

Rock out!

Melissa

I was not sure about the

I was not sure about the whole Reboot, Beasties thing and I know there were a few other things that Gary may have gotten wrong but I was not about to say 'Ahem Gary, you are wrong on these things. Let me tell you how it REALLY is.' I thought it would be a little rude! ;)
I really enjoyed this interview and had a real chuckle when I saw him in Dark Angel as I was watching the pilot the other day. I can totally see why people would refer to him as 'Uncle Gary'.

The time line is right if

The time line is right if you're going by his involvement on the show; his character on Reboot, Turbo(I think his name was, he was a trainer/teacher-type character to Bob) didn't appear until after Beast Wars.

Is there any chance for a transcript version of the interview?

Aoi

He was also Slash, though.

He was also Slash, though. (Who was basically the same character as Grounder really.)

Who was in the first episode.

Holy Crap that u-tube video

Holy Crap that u-tube video was just amazing. I can't believe how well that song fit and played just perfect for the final fight of the movie.

Yeah, it really worked well.

Yeah, it really worked well. I was thinking they should try and do one where they also dub in the voices of megatron and prime from the movie. Lines like "I'll tear out your optics" and what not.
